This 1955 mid-century modern home, meticulously renovated in 2019, boasts over 1,800 square feet of indoor living space, arranging in an unusual L-shaped floor plan rarely found in Palm Springs. All parts of the home look out onto the pool area and/or onto private gardens and patios. The house sits on a completely private cul-de-sac with just one other home, tucked in one of Palm Springs’ most desirable enclaves, yet just five minutes from practical amenities (grocery story, drug store, Starbucks), and no more than ten minutes from a wide array of chic, relaxing eateries, lively bars, movie theaters, galleries and shops.
Upon entering our home through a peaceful foyer, guests enter directly into an airy, light-filled living and dining area, with soaring windows opening onto the pool & spa area, a private succulent garden, a relaxing fountain, and two separate dining areas. A large flat screen TV, along with abundant games and books, ensures plentiful entertainment options for lazy afternoons and festive evenings.
Just around the corner, the dining area opens directly into a spacious, completely remodeled and fully equipped kitchen with large island for snacks and cocktails, plenty of countertops, abundant storage, and a huge side-by-side refrigerator/freezer.
Stepping outside, guests are welcomed into a completely private, expansive back yard, with mature citrus trees, two distinct dining areas, gas grill, and a pristine salt-water pool with new hot tub that comfortably seats 6-8 people. Abundant, tranquil lighting ensures guests can make full use of the pool and garden areas throughout the evening.
Inside, the bedroom wing features a master bedroom with separate pool access, a king-size bed and en suite bathroom; a second pool-view bedroom, also with king-size bed; and a third bedroom with twin beds and private patio. The second and third bedrooms share a bright and cheerful vintage bathroom with updated faucet and shower fixtures.
Walking through the Sunmor neighborhood, you will find wide, rambling streets with updated homes and stunning mountain views. For canine lovers, there is even a friendly dog park just five minutes’ walk from home.
