This inviting two bedroom house on Santa Barbara's riviera is the perfect paradise retreat. The large rear deck has ocean and city views and is perfect for sunbathing, outdoor dining or just relaxing in the hot tub.
The interior is very warm and inviting with it's wood floors, comfortable furnishings, fireplace and cozy beds. The outdoor living space is what makes this house exceptional with it's great views of downtown Santa Barbara and the ocean.
A very functional and well stocked kitchen is perfect for cooking and entertaining while the outdoor grill and deck furniture make for great outdoor dining experiences.
The house comfortably sleeps four in the two bedrooms each which has a very comfortable pillow top queen bed. Additional people can be accommodated in a pinch on the floor of the living room with the use of an Aero-bed that is available for your use.
There are many high-tech features with a built-in sound system throughout the house and the deck with individual room volume controls which you can connect to from your iPod, computer or using AirPlay or by plugging in directly. A surround sound home theater exists with BlueRay DVD as well as Cable TV and Apple TV with Netflix, Pandora and other services as well. This is all connected to a 46' LED TV added new in 2014. A brand new dishwasher, stove/oven and microwave were installed (not pictured) in 2019.
As a guest you will have access to everything in the upper (main) house as shown in the photos, including exclusive use of the upper deck area and the hot tub. The house is on a downhill slope with the two bedroom rental house on the upper level which is the street level. There are a few small steps up into the house from the walkway. We live on the lower level with our two dogs, a beagle Dudley and a Chihuahua-Terrier Loki. The back yard is for our personal use and where our dogs hang out during the day. There is no shared space nor are there connecting doors between the units. We are easy going and will remain rather invisible to your stay unless you need us for something.
This is a quiet neighborhood and we have families that live on both sides of us. As such, it is imperative that you understand when renting this house that this is not a party pad, but rather a relaxing retreat to hang out and enjoy the best of Santa Barbara. Please read the rules about no noise on the deck or hot tub use after 10:00pm.
This is a pet-friendly house that has a secure outdoor deck area. Dogs may be permitted with advance arrangements. No cats please. Our dogs live with us on the lower level and hang out in the rear yard on the lower level. There is a staircase with a gate that separates the upper deck and lower rear yard.
There are laundry facilities in the house for your use.

The house is at the end of a cul-de-sac and is a very cute and quiet street on the lower riviera of Santa Barbara. There is parking easily available on the street and you will have space to park one car off-street in the driveway.
