Casual chic, “farmhouse rustic” meets “beach retreat” home in the Northwest Woods area of East Hampton. It was important for me to find a house that actually felt like a respite; a space to arrive to. This private and sought-after property, tucked behind winding roads and abutting a nature preserve felt like precisely that.
4 BR, 3BA 2050sf + finished rec basement. Sleeps 9. Heated SALTWATER POOL (seasonal) and HOT TUB (year-round!)
Minimum 2-week rentals.
The space:
Upstairs: Master w/ king and ensuite bath.
Queen bed bedroom, shares bathroom with bedroom with 2 twins.
On 1st floor, large 2nd “suite” bedroom with queen bed and twin daybed.
Full finished windowed basement with eco-flooring, bar, giant TV, Peloton. New Sunlighten high-end 2-person infrared sauna—digital display of custom wellness programs (health, detox, weight loss, inflammation, etc.) and Netflix + sound system, in sauna. Sauna has all three: near, mid, and far infared rays and low EMF emissions.
A/C, fans in all rooms. 3 TVs, one in living room, one in downstairs bedroom, one in basement.
Fully stocked kitchen. Everything is BRAND NEW.
Large, flat grassy yard on private .63 acres abutting nature reserve.
Large wooden deck with several spaces for entertaining.
The house is being outfitted to be WELLNESS MINDED: all beds are organic and natural latex mattresses with organic sheets. (No coils to reduce emf exposure.)
House has designed with Feng Shui consultant for optimal serenity and energy flow :) Hamptons Style Real Estate magazine featured a 2 page spread on Feng Shui, with pictures of this home.
Northwest Woods area: 1/2 mile to Sammy’s Beach on the bayside; less than that to a separate part of same beach with more cliffs as topography. 15 mins to ocean beaches. 1/2 mile to hiking trails at gorgeous Cedar Point. Ideally situated, 10-15 minutes each to center villages of Amagansett, East Hampton, Wainscott or Sag Harbor.
Extraneous utility costs for any length of stay will be taken from deposit. (ex. pool heating, paid for by guest which is standard for area.) Please ask any questions before booking!
- No large parties. East Hampton has very specific rules about rental regulations. The house is perfect for families and small groups of friends. As per East Hampton regulations, no more than 4 families at a time may occupy one home. This is a respite and we and the neighbors want to keep it that way :)
